Target group: With a focus on early career researchers. Both academic and technical scientists who work in or together with the Earth Sciences Department at BSC, especially newcomers. Also including external researchers or collaborators who would like to learn more about ES research and how to develop collaborations.

Cost: There is no registration fee.

To gain an understanding of what research is conducted in the Earth Sciences department and how to initiate new collaborations. What to look for and what to avoid. Including a scientific pitch workshop to begin growing your scientific network.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to understand the types of research conducted within the Earth Sciences department and identify potential opportunities for collaboration. Identify key factors to consider when initiating new research collaborations, including best practices and common pitfalls to avoid. They will learn to develop and deliver an effective scientific pitch, enhancing their ability to communicate research ideas and expand their professional network.
