This research line is focused in the development of the Distributed Computing Library (dislib) on top of PyCOMPSs
Summary
This research line is intended to investigate how to improve mainly Machine Learning (ML) algorithms by parallelizing them using PyCOMPSs.
To this end, the Distributed Computing Library (dislib) was created and gathers all ML algorithms developed. dislib mission is to facilitate the execution of big data analytics algorithms in distributed platforms, such as clusters, clouds, and supercomputers using PyCOMPSs.
Objectives
The main objectives of this research line are:
- To do research into the Machine Learning algorithms parallelization
- Develop efficient Machine Learning algorithms on top of PyCOMPSs.
- Collect all these algorithms into the Distributed Computing Library (Dislib).
