Marc Pàmies is a Research Engineer in the Language Technologies Unit, where he works on the development of large language models for Spain’s co-official languages. His key contributions to projects like AINA or ILENIA aim to enhance the digital presence of these languages.

He has strong background in Computer Science, Natural Language Processing and High-Performance Computing. His research interests include large-scale NLP, knowledge distillation, instruction tuning, model alignment and synthetic data generation, among other topics.
