Júlia Falcão is a Computational Linguist originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), and a double master's degree in Language and Communication Technologies from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the University of Malta, completed with an Erasmus scholarship through the EMLCT program. She has previous experience with software development and her main expertise lies in the area of Natural Language Processing. Her primary interests are currently evaluating large language models, as well as identifying and mitigating biases in them.
