Biography

Luis Antonio Vasquez Reina, from Peru, is a junior research engineer at the Language Technologies Unit of the BSC-CNS.
Luis holds a Master's degree in Natural Language Processing and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and has experience in rule-based NLP as well as Deep Learning for Neural Language Models.

Currently, Luis' research interests focus on aligning Language Models to Human Values using Reinforcement Learning in a Multilingual context, detecting and mitigating biases in Language Models, and parallel computing.
