Abstract
The present invention belongs to the field of computer-implemented methods, and, more specifically, to a method for accelerating an alignment algorithm to establish a correspondence between two or more sequences of information, being those, mainly, 10 genetic sequences, based on the computation of the degree of similarity between said sequences and related to the field of dynamic programming. Specific, tailored hardware implementations of said method are also disclosed.
