Biography
Sarah Solito is a Deep Learning Engineer for Speech Technologies at the Language Technologies Unit of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación. She holds a Master’s in Natural Language Processing from UPV-EHU and a Bachelor’s in Science and Techniques of Linguistic Mediation from Università del Salento. Currently at BSC, she is specializing in Speech Technologies: her work focuses on Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), data corpus curation and creation, and coordinating deliverables for speech-focused projects aimed at delivering high-quality speech resources for the co-official languages of Spain, as well as project management for specific use cases involving the speech resources delivered.
