
BSC hosts MareNostrum, the most powerful supercomputer in Spain. There are different options for visiting and knowing the supercomputer.
The face-to-face visits are made from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., by appointment and last 30-60 minutes.
Plan your visit to MareNostrum
The visit has been modified in accordance with the regulations and internal prevention protocols of COVID-19 and until further notice:
- Groups can be a maximum of nine people
- Visitors must come with a mask and respect the rules on safety distance in force throughout the tour
- At the beginning of the visit, visitors will be asked to wash their hands with hydroalcoholic gel that BSC will make available to them
- Visitors will refrain from coming if they have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with people with the disease for the past 14 days
CLASSROOM OR ONLINE ACTIVITIES
Due to the capacity and mobility restrictions related to the health emergency, we have converted the activities for schools, institutes and formative cycles into online or classroom activities.

VIRTUAL VISIT
Virtual tour allow you to see the MareNostrum supercomputer from anywhere and discover every corner of MareNostrum 4.
You will be able to access the glass urn where the supercomputer is located, walk through its corridors and even have a 360º view of the facilities that are underground and that are essential for MareNostrum to function.
