Description
Its general objective is to develop software and tools to access relevant data from the Copernicus Climate Data Store or other sources, to apply metrics for evaluation of climate change projections, to compute statistics and time series as well as tailored information to user needs. The access to this climate information will be through a web interface. The idea is to extend the existing climate4impact.eu existing web portal. Metrics that will be accessible will characterize the bias, systematic errors, the patterns of the main modes of variability and teleconnections, their frequency of occurrence or spectra. A wide variety of climate indices will be available, either well-known indices characterizing well-known modes, teleconnections or extremes, or any user-defined indices by selecting domains, variables, operations, filtering options, a combination of models. User-tailored products will cover the energy, insurance, hydrology and coastal areas sectors. Visualization of the results will be possible through the web interface.
