Context And Mission
The performance tools group (tools.bsc.es) works in an open-source project where the key component is Paraver, a performance analyzer based on traces with a great flexibility to explore the collected data. The Dimemas simulator can be used to predict the application's behavior under different scenarios. Performance analytics modules extract insight from the raw performance data. Extrae allows to capture the performance data to feed the previous tools. Provided with such tools, the analyst can generate and validate hypothesis to investigate the trails provided by the execution trace.
If you are interested in the development of performance tools, we are looking for candidates interested in joining the team to work on the R+D activities and projects.
