Student Volunteering
Volunteer students from each department are invited to be part of the Doctoral Symposium organisation.
Student volunteers play a key role in ensuring the success of the Doctoral Symposium. They are the people that help everyone from registration to local support. Being a student volunteer is an excellent opportunity to meet, interact and network with leading academic researchers, gain experience in the organisation of events and demonstrate their commitment with the SO Doctoral Symposium at BSC.

Responsibilities
- Availability to attend 2 group meetings before the symposium and complete the assigned tasks (approximately 6h flexibly distributed)
- Approximately 1 day of work in total during the week of the conference. The work will be distributed among the volunteers.
- Technical assistance to speakers (if requested) and support documenting and taking pictures of the event.
- Help conference speakers and participants be where they need to be.
- Help at the registration desk.
Qualifications
- Enrollment as a Ph.D., Masters, or undergraduate student at the time of the conference.
- A good level of English
