The centre of excellence in HPC called PoP (Performance Optimization and Productivity), coordinated by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), has been short-listed for the Innovation Radar Prize 2017 of the Horizon 2020 Programme in the 'Best early stage innovation' prize category. This prize category aims to recognise innovations showing promise at early stages in EU-funded research and innovation projects.
Up until 15 October 2017, people will be able to vote below for their favourites among 48 nominees. This public vote will decide which 4 innovators go forward from each category to the final (the top 4 in each category in terms of votes secured go through to the final). The 20 finalists will then present their plans for going to market with their EU-funded tech to a jury of experts at the ICT Proposers' Day in Budapest.
