Summer of HPC is a summer placement programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students that offers summer placements at HPC centres across Europe and runs from July 1st to August 30th 2013. BSC has participated with two students.
Summer of HPC is a programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students that offers a summer placement at HPC centres across Europe and runs from July 1st to August 30th 2013. A total of 24 top applicants from across Europe have been selected to participate. They are spending two months working on projects related to PRACE technical or industrial work and produce a visualization or video of their results.
In the first edition of this programme, BSC has participated with two students: Vito Simonka, from Slovenia, and Vojtech Bardiovsky, and Slovakia. They are currently familiarizing themselves with the BSC programming model OmpSs and tools such as PARAVER and DIMEMAS, as well as enjoying Barcelona and its culture.
