In an event that brought together the families of the students and the directors at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), the students competed for the best presentation of the knowledge acquired.
The director of the BSC, Mateo Valero; the associate director, Josep Maria Martorell, and the director of Coneixement i Recerca of the Fundació Catalunya la Pedrera, Lluís Farrés, thanked the students' effort to devote part of their free time to the course and encouraged them to remain closely linked to the research and science
The Bojos per la Supercomputació programme is divided into different thematic blocks with the objective that students know closely what supercomputers are and how they work, as well as the different types of research that can be carried out with a supercomputer. The fields of the course are:
- Supercomputing introduction
- Mathematics for supercomputing
- Simulations
- Artificial intelligence
- Climate change
- Quantum Computing
- Computational Biology
- Smartcities
