Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) collaborates one more year in the Cooperation Conference Conacyt-Catalunya 2018 (JCCC2018) organized by the UPC and the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico (CONACyT) and that will take place June 18 and 19 in the Campus Nord of the UPC.
The JCCC2018 is a scientific forum in which Mexican students highlight the progress and / or results of their research. The conference aims to build a scientific forum for multidisciplinary reflection on the progress of research projects of young Mexican researchers from universities and research centers in Catalonia, strengthen ties among the scientific community of CONACyT in Catalonia, promote the exchange of experiences in various disciplines and boost cooperation between doctoral students and Mexican researchers in Catalonia.
Within the framework of the conference, presentations and posters sessions are organized. The deadline to apply is May 20. Another of the actions is the Tu Tesis en 3 minutos (3MT) for theses of Mexican PhD students registered in Spanish universities. Those interested should send a video in which they describe their thesis in three minutes. The BSC supports this initiative.
And as part of the JCCC2018 there will be a special edition of the magazine Computación y Sistemas (Indexed by Scopus). For this edition, a call will be made with the submit to evaluation an article that could be published in this special edition.
