BSC opens applications for 7 predoctoral INPhINIT- “la Caixa” fellowships

Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) offers 7 predoctoral positions in this 4th edition of the Doctoral Fellowship programme INPhINIT “la Caixa”. The selected candidates will have the opportunity of joining BSC’s research groups to carry out one of the research projects listed below.   • PhD student in climate research: high-resolution climate simulations and characterization of climate impacts (Markus Donat)
     
  • Turbulent combustion modelling with dynamic adaptive chemistry for multiregime combustion phenomena (Daniel Mira)
     
  • AI Reminiscence Therapy for Dementia (Jordi Torres)
     
  • PhD student in Machine learning methods for biomedical knowledge representation, integration and discovery in adult and paediatric cancers (Alfonso Valencia)
     
  • Interpretability of machine learning and artificial intelligence from an economic perspective / PhD student (Fernando Cucchietti)
     
  • Radiative forcing of Brown carbon aerosol and the role of the reactive uptake of ammonia on secondary organic aerosols (Oriol Jorba)
     
  • PhD candidate in phylogenomics (Toni Gabaldón)
