The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and the Autonomous University of Mexico (UAEM) have signed an agreement for the next five years, with the aim of encouraging both cooperation in the educational fields and research in supercomputing.
Thus, BSC and UAEM will cooperate in research projects, will promote the interchange of scientific publications, will develop dual-degree programs and will design courses specialized in subjects such as parallelism, code efficiency regarding architectures, cybersecurity or Artificial Intelligence, which will be offered by BSC staff.
On the other hand, both institutions will promote the exchange of both post-doc students and interns to boost the training of human resources in the field of supercomputing.
