- Promote innovation services for researchers to transform BSC project results into new products, services and processes for companies and society.
- Define and manage a market validation program being in contact with researchers and identifying market opportunities for their project results helping them to valorise their technologies.
- Be in contact with the innovation ecosystem, including European, Spanish, and Catalan.
- Manage market validation activities to facilitate the exploitation of BSC's research results, including:
1. Be responsible for the market validation program.
2. Be responsible for the BSC portfolio identifying market opportunities.
3. Be responsible for dynamising the BSC portfolio by attending network events, fairs, and workshops or assisting with brokerage events.
4. Promote market and commercialization studies for BSC technologies.
5. Be responsible for network and contact generation among innovation ecosystems (Catalan, Spanish and European).
6. Identify calls and manage the submission and execution of proposals to promote the innovation ecosystem at BSC. - Carry out tasks described in the X4HPC (2021 XARDI 00016) TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROJECT including:
1. Manage X4HPC network and contacts generation
2. Identify research results from the 8 research institutions and provide a portfolio of technologies.
3. Attend and organize, meetings and teleconferences with project committees to follow the development of the project
4. Write and contribute to project deliverables and participate in identifying and developing valorisation projects inside the network.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or science.
- Additional specialized training in business administration and project management.
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Professional experience in managing similar innovation Networks of research centres.
- Demonstrated experience in project management .
- Experience in a research/academic or international environment.
- Fluency in Spanish, Catalan and English is essential.
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Knowledge of the IT sector, especially Computer and Computational Sciences will be an advantage.
- Experience in projects between non-profit research centers and private industry will be a plus.

- The position will be located at BSC within the Director's Office Department
- We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance
- Duration: 4 years
- Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement
- Salary: 45.000 €
- Additional Expenses Grant: Each fellowship will be associated with a grant for additional expenses, such as IT equipment, travel, training, stays, etc.
- Starting date: asap - the incorporation for this vacancy must be before the 16th of December 2024

Development of the recruitment process
The selection will be carried out through a competitive examination system ("Concurso-Oposición"). The recruitment process consists of two phases:
- Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of previous experience and/or scientific history, degree, training, and other professional information relevant to the position. - 40 points
- Interview phase: The highest-rated candidates at the curriculum level will be invited to the interview phase, conducted by the corresponding department and Human Resources. In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated. - 60 points. A minimum of 30 points out of 60 must be obtained to be eligible for the position.
The recruitment panel will be composed of at least three people, ensuring at least 25% representation of women.
In accordance with OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for each vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will begin the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. At a minimum, a personality questionnaire as well as a technical exercise will be conducted during the process.
The panel will make a final decision, and all individuals who participated in the interview phase will receive feedback with details on the acceptance or rejection of their profile.
