SLURM Workshop on 15th December 2011 the RES, in cooperation with CeSViMa, organised a half day workshop to allow all RES technicians to discuss problems and the current situation of the scheduling and resource management software.
The meeting was conducted by the Performance Engineer at BSC-CNS who attended to the Slurm User Group Meeting 2011 in Phoenix and shared the learned issues, general knowledge and experience on SLURM amongst all the teams. Also it was initiated the discussion on possible future needs and related software. The interest in the topic caused that the seminar discussion shall be followed by a videoconference and another training session to be held early in 2012 and a training to migrate to the new version of SLURM.
