I graduated in Physics from the University of Cordoba (Spain) and in Nuclear Science and Technology from the Technic University of Madrid (Spain). I did my PhD at the Department of Physics at the University of Helsinki (Finland). I continued as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physics (UH, Finland) and the Helsinki Institute of Physics in Finland. During my PhD, I visited the Department of Mathematics at Southern Methodist University (USA), and as a postdoctoral reseacher, I collaborated with scientists of different backgrounds in Europe and the USA.
