Gustav Kalbe, Head of the new High Performance Computing & Quantum Technologies Unit at the European Commission (EC), visited BSC for the first time today.
Kalbe, who was appointed head of the new HPC Unit in July of this year, had meetings with the BSC Directors who presented the centre and its research activities. Dr Kalbe also took the opportunity to address the members of the ETP4HPC Steering Board, whose meeting also took place today at BSC.
