These are busy times with many meetings for the International Tokamak Physics Activity (ITPA,). BSC Senior Researcher Shimpei Futatani is at the moment in Garching, Germany, participating in the meeting of the Pedestal and Edge Physics Topical Group of ITPA. Yesterday he gave a talk at the meeting entitled “Non-linear MHD modelling of pellet triggered ELM”. It reported on the recent results of his research for ITER, JET and Asdex Upgrade tokamaks.
