Password Management​

In order to change the password, you have to login to a different machine (transfer1.bsc.es). This connection must be established from your local machine.

ssh -l username transfer1.bsc.es

username@dtransfer1:~> passwd
Changing password for username.
Old Password: 
New Password: 
Reenter New Password: 
Password changed.

Mind that the password change usually takes at least 10 minutes to propagate to other machines.
