In July 2011 the seminar Computing Frontiers was co-organised by the University of Zaragoza, and the RES. The seminar was aimed to college students and young researchers in order to offer them an overview of various issues related to computing in which there are R&D projects in Spain. The choice of speakers provided a transversal and multidisciplinary view of deep computing, covering topics such as biocomputing, nanoscience, safety and prevention, cosmology or robotics among others, and considering that included leading researchers working in both public research organizations and companies.
